NABOKV-L@LISTSERV.UCSB.EDU Though many Nabokovians are no doubt aware of
this, I don't think the
details of the recent 2 vol. festschrift for Alexander Dolinin have appeared
on the list. I can't speak to the Russian-language articles, but I will run
down the list of English language articles relevant to VN studies.
The Real Life of Pierre Delalande: Studies in Russian and Comparative
Literature to Honor Alexader Dolinin. 2 vols. Stanford Slavic Studies 33
(2007).
All of the following are in Volume 2:
Meyer, Priscilla. "Carmencita: Blok's Delmas, Nabokov's Shulgina: The
Evolution of Eros in Nabokov's Work." 521-538.
Weiner, Adam. "'There was no Aleksandr Ivanovich': The Hidden Hero in
Nabokov's Defense." 555-579.
Johnson, D. Barton. "A Field Guide to Nabokov's Pale Fire: Waxwings and the
Red Admiral." 652-673.
Connolly, Julian W. "Why are Nymphets 'Demonic'? Remarks on the Cultural
Roots of Nabokov's Lolita. 674-686.
When I get a chance, I will try to provide some further detail about these
interesting articles. Perhaps someone can do the same for the
Russian-language articles, which far outnumber the English.
