Well, the third copy of The Gift has arrived - no inscriptions, no hard cover, 95 cents and a lurid cover. According to the back cover I am to expect

or as Newsweek is quoted:  "The poet's love affair with the girl in the next room is a delicate modern idyl, written with a full sense of contemporary sexual viewpoints by one of the worldliest writers alive."
