Dear all,

AdaOnline (http://www.ada.auckland.ac.nz/) has been updated. In the text frame at top left the page numbers of each chapter are now visible, which should make it easier to navigate to where you want. But the most significant change is the addition of many new illustrations, especially in chapters 1-10 (the others will follow over the coming months).

If you wish to check the new images, go to the Images tab at top and click on the Index by Page/Line Number, then click on any image you'd like to see. Make sure you click on the name of the image, to the right, if that's what you want to see; if you click on the page and line number, that will take you to the annotation.

Clicking on the images in sequence is a fascinating way of re-skimming the novel. And informative. I now have a much better sense of a "ha-ha," for instance, than I had from the dictionary definition alone.

Happy browsing.
Brian Boyd
