btw: It seems that Lacan tried to discover more about Freud's comments about "The Pest" in an interview with C.G.Jung.  The episode is described by Elizabeth Roudinesco, in her latest "Jacques Lacan, Outline of a Life, History of a System of Thought."  and it is mentioned in Lacan's 'Écrits" (La Chose Freudienne)
