Speaking of 'Ursus', the Franco-Estotian restaurant in Ada (2.8), it reminds one not only of a character in Victor Hugo's L'homme qui rit, but also of Atta Troll, the bear in Heine's eponymous long poem (subtitled "A Summer Night's Dream", 1841).

Atta Troll + air = Tartar + Lolita

Ursus + la Rousse + art = Ursula + ours + sestra

la Rousse - Fr., red-haired woman/girl; cf. Cordula's words: "a dozen blondes, three brunettes and one red-haired, la Rousse, can wisper French in their sleep" (1.27); Larousse - French lexicographer (1817-75)
Ursula - female given name; on Antiterra, a novel by Floeberg (1.20)
ours - Fr., bear
sestra - Russ., sister
