The volumes, originally commissioned by Rowohlt publishers for Dieter E. Zimmer's German collected edition of Nabokov's works, now appear with kind permission of The Nabokov Estate and with the help of generous grants by the German Translator's Foundation and the German Literary Foundation in the Frankfurt-based Stroemfeld publishing house: A private publisher in the public interest.

 

The translator has published a book on Nabokov and memory for Stroemfeld and has translated The Tragedy of Mr. Morn and Camera obscura for Nabokov's Gesammelte Werke.
