Dear Nabokv-L members,
I am writing to indicate to those of you who live in the North-East of the US that the adaptation of Lolita as an "imaginary opera" will be created (in its English version) at Montclair State University on April 2, 3, and 4 2009, some 30 minutes from NYC.
This "imaginary opera" was written by the American composer Joshua Fineberg, in collaboration with choreographer Johanne Saunier, light designer and director Jim Clayburgh, and video artist Kurt D'Haeseleer. As can be guessed from the creation team, this adaptation is a hybrid work that crosses different artistic media.

Joshua Fineberg granted me the honor of interviews before and after the show, and I will let the list know where the interviews will be published.
I also thought it would be interesting to gather the Nabokovians that can come for the show to discuss the performances afterwards (I will attend them all). If you are interested in such a gathering, do not hesitate contacting me, so that we can arrange our meeting.
With my best regards,
