JM: A correction to one sentence
in [DARWINIAN MUSINGS] Gradus, Sybil and superior victims...:
I wrote that "actually weak deceivers, in nature as well as in life,
are the fittest" but I meant "deceivers, in nature as well as in
art".
To ride on the same impulse, I here add Kinbote's
own demonstration on how to "accompany Gradus [...] hiding between two words" which I'd thought
unnecessary to point out: "Or perish must/ Alike great temples and Tanagra dust?"
A question: Just as in TRLSK there is a visual
rendition of the letter "b" in Russian that suggests a "v" in English, would
there be another instance, now involving a misapprehension of Russian
"t" and
"s"?
