Hello Don-
"Dream-man is an idiot but not wholly devoid of animal
cunning; the fatal flaw in his mind corresponds to the sputter
produced by tongue twisters: 'the risks scoundrels take'."
I read this sentence to say that the dreaming mind is irrational; yet
with some primitive intents muddling in the detritus.
This seems to echo the preceding (& punning) "movement of
verbal colluvia in the valleys of Toss and Thurn."
Agree. Same judgment: sputter = colluvia.
N. and Freud agreed in their observations on the structure of dreams.
The difference was Freud's emphasis on the explicative value of the
"animal cunning" and the occasional gem stones to be found in the
colluvium.
0000,0000,FFFF"Colluvia' (plural of 'colluvium'
id defined as......." 0000,0000,0000Of
course, Freud was unable to comment on the wise vagaries of the
fingers on the typing keyboard.
