Subject: Call for Nabokov panel proposals – MLA 2024 (Philadelphia)

By Marie Bouchet, 7 November, 2022

The IVNS is inviting Nabokov scholars to propose and organize our panel at the annual MLA convention. This call is for the 2024 MLA Convention, which will take place in Philadelphia in early January 2024.

If you are interested in organizing this panel, please send your proposal to Marie Bouchet (current Vice-President of the IVNS), by December 10, 2022 (marie.bouchet@univ-tlse2.fr).

Your proposal should include:

- a 35-word CFP (an MLA requirement);

- a developed version of the CFP (300-500 words);

- a short bio.

The proposals will be assessed by late December 2022, and the chosen topic will be presented at the IVNS General Meeting in January 2023.

Early career Nabokov scholars are particularly encouraged to propose a panel.

Our MLA liaison, Zoran Kuzmanovich, will be there to help with all the practical aspects of submitting the panel description and Call for Papers to the MLA organizers. The IVNS will cover all traveling and accommodation expenses of the panel organizer.
