Barrie Karp : “Lolita sighting at Book Culture in NYC today.”
Jansy Mello: I never saw the cover of the widely discussed 2005 edition of Michael Maar’s “The Two Lolitas” Barrie Karp found on display in NYC. Great instigation, Barrie. I was spurred to check it in the wiki and found out that there are many other books on Nabokov written by Maar, besides this one and “Speak, Nabokov,” not translated into English: Warum <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Nabokov> Nabokov Harry Potter gemocht hätte. 2002, <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:BookSources/3827004543> ISBN 3-8270-0454-3; Lolita und der deutsche Leutnant. Essay. 2005; Leoparden im Tempel. Zu Andersen, Borges, Canetti, Chesterton, Kafka, Lampedusa, Mann, Musil, Nabokov, Powell, Proust, Woolf. 2007; Solus Rex. Die schöne böse Welt des Vladimir Nabokov. 2007
A reference to his more recent publication in English (also discussed in the VN-L) can be found at <http://quarterlyconversation.com/from-beyond-the-grave-speak-nabokov-by-michael-marr> http://quarterlyconversation.com/from-beyond-the-grave-speak-nabokov-by-michael-marr
