Jansy Mello sends the following tidbit, containing a number of coincidences
that might have amused VN:
A young woman, named *Lolita* presents her "Lolitta" productions at the
SPFW.
She began her work *at the age of* *twelve,* mainly designing models for
schoolmates. Now, at 26, she makes her presence felt at the São Paulo
Fashion Week.
*03 de abril de 2014: *Estilista de 26 anos lançou sua primeira coleção
aos 12 anos e estreia com sua grife Lolitta nesta edição no SPFW: "Lolita
Zurita Hannud...começou cedo ... Quando lançou sua marca "adulta", em 2008,
os vestidos tipo bandage até assustaram as clientes, que se sentiam
agarradas na peças."

"For the big picnic on Ada's twelfth birthday and Ida's forty-second *jour
de fête, *the child was permitted to wear her lolita (thus dubbed after the
little Andalusian gipsy of that name in Osberg's novel and pronounced,
incidentally, with a Spanish 't,' not a thick English one), a rather long,
but very airy and ample, black skirt, with red poppies or peonies,
'deficient in botanical reality,' as she grandly expressed it, not yet
knowing that reality and natural science are synonymous in the terms of
this, and only this, dream...Besides the lolita, she wore a short-sleeved
white black-striped jersey, a floppy hat (hanging behind her back from an
elastic around her throat), a velvet hairband and a pair of old sandals."
