This one is a big Nabokov issue -- even his portrait (rather cubist but
not too flattering, I am afraid) is on the cover. John Updike reviews
"THE STORIES OF VLADIMIR NABOKOV" ("A Jeweler's Eye," p. 7), and
David Lodge writes about Wood's "THE MAGICIAN'S DOUBTS" ("Lolita & Company,
p. 34).
