Which is, sort of, tennis.
Has anyone written about H.H.'s descriptions of, and vigorous reactions to,
Dolly's tennis style? From Humbert's perspectives, on the sidelines or on the
court, her game is a kind of Platonic wonder: idealized and wholly
non-competitive. Have I missed a discussion of this somewhere? If so, I want
to read it; if not, maybe I'll write it.
