Dear All,
Be sure to be on the lookout for new references to Lolita regarding the
new French-American film "The Professional." This movie is done by the
same man who directed "La Femme Nikita," whose name escapes me. Anyway,
the story concerns a man who has recently become the guardian of a
blossoming 12-year-old girl. In the _Newsweek_ review of the film the
reviewer notes the girl's "t-shirt being poked by her budding breasts"
and makes other references to sexual tension between the aging man and
his new ward. Sounds somewhat Lolita-esque. At least enough so that we
can expect some critic to notice.
