There are several recent books on Nabokov that you may (or may not) be
aware of. For the record, they are: 1) Julian W. Connolly, NABOKOV'S
EARLY FICTION: PATTERNS OF SELF AND OTHER. Cambridge: Cambridge U.P.,
1992. 2) A SMALL ALPINE FORM: STUDIES IN NABOKOV'S SHORT FICTION. Ed.
Charles Nicol & Gennady Barabtarlo. New York: Garland, 1993. 3) Tony
Sharpe. VLADIMIR NABOKOV. London: Edward Arnold, 1991. The last is a
selective, introductory volume which is part of a series on modern
fiction. It does not appear to be of much interest to specialists.
