Some years ago as part of a series of dramatized short stories, PBS
televised "The Penny Elf," which was an excellent presentation of THE
FIRST HALF of "The Potato Elf," stopping before Fred retired to the
country. Considering how well it was done as far as it went, I
can't imagine how they decided to stop in the middle.
