precisely this topic. A chapter from it is in the new (1996) issue of
NABOKOV STUDIES. Other pieces have appeared in Russian publications.

I also have a request: I am in search of material that directly relates
to Nabokov and Silver Age prose. I have read Alexandrov's piece on
Nabokov and the Silver Age but this deals mainly with poets -- Blok, Bely,
Gumilyev. I have begun my search by looking at Nabokov and X (Gorky,
Bunin, Andreev....) but wondered if anyone has come across anything that
directly addresses this topic? Please let me know if anyone has any
suggestions.
