A separate page now offers what is apparently full text of the New York
Times Book Review on the WWW, including both Sunday reviews and daily
reviews (up to current date). Archives appear to include book reviews
from daily and Sunday issues going back to 1980. Some special WWW
features include (as of 4 March 1997) a RealAudio recording of Vladimir
Nabokov reading from his own works (recorded in NYC in 1964); promised as
a weekly feature with different authors. Also on the site are the full
listings of New York Times Best Sellers expanded to include 30 titles in
each category, with links from titles on the lists to NYTBR reviews.
Discussion forums on book topics are also offered.
The site, like the rest of the New York Times site, is at present freely
available, but requires registration and a choice of password to access
the site. If you access the site regularly from one machine and are the
only user from that machine, you can instruct your browser to retain your
login and password for greater ease of access.
