Reuters announced at 8:52 am today (Feb 13) that the Lolita film has
obtained an R rating from the Motion Picture Association of America.
According to the news release: "MPAA sources said the film didn't contain
anything graphic enough to earn a stiffer rating and the picture passed
through on the first screening." It goes on to say that "the film's
producers, Joel Michaels and Mario Kassar, are showing the picture
tostudio chiefs interested in a distribution pact."
