Making its rounds, obviously. Made it to CNN's ShowBiz Today this
afternoon. They briefly interviewed Lyne, who said all the usual things
about what the non-release means for intellectual and artistic freedom and
political climate in the US.
They also announced that the earlier deal to show the movie on
Pay-Per-View fell through -- or, rather, the offer was withdrawn --
because of complaints from the public. It was a rather brief segment, 5
minutes or so. Lyne's son apparently warned him that he needed to make a
movie of LOLITA like he needed a hole in his head. Lyne thought his son
was being overly pessimistic...
