The current _New Yorker_ (Feb. 23 and Mar. 2) has an
article by Anthony Lane about Lyne's "Lolita." He clearly found it
engaging. Noting that the current climate in the U.S. makes it problematic
to release a film such as "Lolita," he writes that it would be "a pity" to
deny Americans a chance to make up their own minds about the film.
