Subject
Pale Fire and VN MLA Session (fwd)

Body
At the risk of self-promotion, I'd like to note that I plan to address
some of these questions related to _PF_ in my upcoming paper at the MLA.
I am incorporating some concepts from philosophy, specifically, the
branch of modal logic known as possible worlds theory, and seeing
whether they can usefully be applied to novels that seem to incorporate
multiple, even incompatible, fictional worlds. Obviously, many of VN's
works fit here, but I shall be restricting my remarks to Pale Fire.
