The new novel of the French writer Erik Orsenna (Prix Goncourt 1988) "Deux
étés" is based on the true story of the translation of ADA into french by
Gilles Chahine. All the inhabitants of an island in Brittany, where the
translator is living, decide to help him because he is extremely late. His
editor is in a hurry, because he expects Vn will receive the Nobel prize.
This short novel is rather pleasant, but superficial.
