DMITRI NABOKOV IS DEEPLY TOUCHED BY THOSE BESTOWING LOVE AND FESTIVITIES
ON HIS FATHER ON HIS BIRTHDAY.
HE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO RECEIVING, IN FLORIDA (address: 1515 SOUTH
FLAGLER DRIVE, WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA 33401) IF POSSIBLE, THE NEW
_ZVEZDA_ CONTAINING THE _MORN_ TEXT HE HAD PREPARED, AND STARK'S
INTRODUCTION.
HE WOULD BE CURIOUS TO KNOW, URGENTLY, WHAT IS MEANT BY "NABOKOV'S
ONEGIN PASTICHE", AND EVENTUALLY TO READ THE VARIOUS _DOKLADI_.
HE WONDERS WHO NOW OWNS, AND WHY, THOSE WEST-EUROPEAN PAINTINGS FROM THE
NABOKOV FAMILY COLLECTION.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE, DN REGRETS THAT THE US PUBLISHER COMPOUNDED THE
PERMISSIONS MESS AFTER MME. MALIKOVA AND OTHERS TRIED TO CORRECT THINGS,
AND IS TAKING PROPER ACTION. HE SENDS BEST WISHES TO ALL.
