EDITOR's NOTE. OZMA makes an excellent, too-often-overlooked point!

From: OZMA@webtv.net
i was just wondering... i know nabokov has loads and loads of hidden
themes and symbols etc etc in all his work which do sometimes make it
much more fun for the educated person to read. but, does anyone ever
give him credit for the masterful storytelling he did? it seems everyone
is lost in his irony, themes, and symbolism and are totally disregarding
his plots which were the first thing that grabbed me!
i just wanted to know!
i have read everything possible by and on vladimir and i love no author
any more than i love him!!
sincerely,
a well-educated, english professor in n.c.
