The BB of Barbara Braun is an English-language latin alphabet mirror of VV,
Vladimir Vladimirovich, which in cyrillic looks like BB.
Lilac for VN is usually associated with the border between this world and
the otherworld.
VN often casts the opposition America/Russia as a parodic version of this
world/otherworld.
This suggests that BB's "WLL" is the mortal American mirror image of VN's
Russian memoir.This accounts for combining BB's relatively silly book with
VN's memoir.
