To All NABOKV-L Readers:

I am working on a paper dealing with strategies for interpreting Nabokov's
art. The paper will be presented at the 1999 MLA meeting. As part of this
project, I am interested in gathering your opinions about the best way to
read and understand Nabokov. My question is this: what specific approaches
or readings of Nabokov have you found to be most successful and revealing?
Are there specific readings or approaches to Nabokov that you have found
dubious or implausible? In short, what seems to work and what doesn't?

I would be most grateful if you would reply directly to me (off-list) at
jwc4w@virginia.edu

Thanks very much for your help.
