Pushkin, who is present in so many of Nabokov's works and to whose
_Eugene Onegin_ he devoted many years, is 200 today.
Pushkin House, the literary branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences,
and the Nabokov Foundation in St. Petersburg held a joint Internaional
Conference commemorating the two centennials of Russia's two greatest
literary figures on the 15-18th of April. NABOKV-L will soon carry a
report on the event.
