Did Nabokov at any point give any explanation of his philosophical
stance? I'm sure he was a believer in free-will, but did he ever give a
reason (or was it just a "gut feeling")? I was just wondering why exactly
he rejected Sartre's existentialism - was it for aesthetic reasons or
something more fundamental?
