I find an echo of the rhythm of a phrase in the opening sentence of
Finnegans Wake in this sentence that appears on p. 212 of Pale Fire:
Now that he was safely out of the country, the entire blue bulk of
Zembla, from Embla Point to Emblem Bay,could sink into the sea for all she
cared.
'[F]rom swerve of shore to bend of bay...?'
