Dear List,
I recently purchased a used copy of the 1969 McGraw-Hill edition of ADA, but noticed upon paging through it later that "Vivian Darkbloom"'s index is absent. Could anyone tell me why it is missing, and when (i.e. in what edition) it was added? I've glanced through Boyd's writings on the novel in the second volume of his biography, but found nothing about the index, although it is quite possible I may have missed something.
