NABOKOVIANS
I have today gotten several strange e-mails from an address
<toska....> in Switzerland and a <vnabokov@mail.wplus.net> address with
an attachment titled
"whatever.exe."--apparently an audio file. My virus scanner says the
files are infected and I am not going to open them. The subject
lines are, variously, "shit here?!", "Cool stuff!" "funky urls", "some
website here :-)" etc
These things are apparenltly targeted at NABOKV-L and may well have
nothing to do with their addresses of origin. Something weird is going
on. Does anyone out there have any experience with this sort of thing? I
have, of course, checked my own machine and it apparently has no
viruses.
