EDNOTE. The Gennady Martynov mentioned in this note from the Director of the
Saint-Petersburg Nabokov Museum is the compiler of an important research
tool that should be in the hands of every Nabokovian;_V.V. Nabokov.
Bibliograficheskii ukazatel'_ (S-P: Folio-Press, 2001). It is by far the
most complete bibliographic listing of works by and about VN in Russian. See
also my note at the bottom.

EDNOTE. Chaplygin's is probably a bit earlier than Vinogradov's. The latter
was commenting on VN's Onegin's scholarship whole Chaplygin directly
addresses LOLITA. Actually, a Soviet newpaper in the Twenties heaped scorn
on a Nabokov poem. Sasha Bednyi, was it?
