EDNOTE. Tatyana Ponomareva is the Director of the Saint-Petersburg Vladimir
Nabokov Museum located in the former Nabokov town house. The Museum has
recently been qualified as an institution that qualifies for tax-deductible
donations from the U.S.

A side note on cultural differences: it is "Glory" (mentioned on this
list as one of the "worst" novels and usually neglected by scholars) that
has long been the favourite VN's novel of many Russian readers (my
observation is based both on
personal and the museum experience).
