I'm glad the ball is rolling, and that others are willing to put
in brief annotations on a word or a phrase (although they or
others may find connections for these later as we go), which
is about what I can occasionally do, leaving larger "meanings"
for our senior spokes="persons". I'm also happy the professor
Nabokv presents us with word games beginning on page one. In
addition to the "seesaw --see saw" of paragraph one, we have
the alliterative "pictured past and the perceived present
present...." Likewise the "STONE over which a multitude of
small animals have scurried in the course of inCALCULable seasons."
Also a bit of play with "transparent ... through which ...
shines:" one is tempted to add a third synonymous (?) version
with Greek like "epi-phanein", if that isn't too Joycean.
Our host seems to want to leave us each anonymous in our posts,
so I won't "sign" this.
More later.
