Subject: ADAonline update. REQUEST for VOLUNTEERS
From Jeff Edmunds <jhe2@psulias.psu.edu>:
In the wake of Brian Boyd's announcement about ADAonline, Don Johnson asked
me to supply some details as to what volunteers would be asked to do.
The most time-consuming aspect of adding to the site is preparing the text
of ADA for the Web according to the format established in ADAonline.
Volunteers should therefore have a sound knowledge of HTML and experience
using Dreamweaver software. (Relatively speaking, Dreamweaver is a fairly
easy program to use. Other HTML authoring packages would be acceptable
alternatives, as long as they can be configured not to insert extraneous
code into the files. The HTML code of ADAonline has been purposely
simplified to facilitate rapid editing and updating.)
All assistance will be acknowledged in the site.
It seems appropriate here to thank Sergey Karpukhin for his generous
assistance with the coding of Chapters 4-6.
Interested persons should contact me at jhe2@psulias.psu.edu.
Thank you.
