When mentioning VN's discourse on Duels in Onegin, I neglected to mention another splendid source: Serena Vitale's _PUSHKIN'S BUTTON: The Story of the Fatal Duel which Killed Russia's Greatest Poet_. An English translation appeared in the UK in 1999 and, I think there was an American edition as well.
