EDNOTE. Alexey's Serov picture of Adelaida Simonovich is a reasonable guess.
I've noticed that many of VN's descriptions of paintings differ from the
paintings themselves in various ways. Also it may be a composite. As to the
"sexy," Van's does not describe her as a beauty.
