CONFIESO QUE HE COMIDO
El Golden, un bar de toda la vida en el barrio del Antiguo donostiarra,
se ha modernizado de la mano de un nuevo equipo de dirección. El Golden
Berri, en la calle Juan de Garay, se ha redecorado con los luminosos
colores de la manzana y quiere que la calidad de sus productos y su
servicio sea la marca de la casa. Hay carta de desayunos por la mañana,
y un plato del día a mediodía y a la noche, con cierto aire de bistrot

Humbert Humbert por la chiquilla nos acompañará. Es un libro fascinante
y provocador, una pasión prohibida en la que cabe el lirismo, la
violencia, el deseo y hasta unas gotas de humor. Fue llevada al cine con
maestría por el gran Kubrick (luego hubo otro intento que es mejor
olvidar) pero las letras de Nabokov son para paladear en el sofá.
PARAÍSOS CERCANOS | La Rue Ganbetta, donde todo es posible
Si hubiera que elegir media docena de calles con personalidad, fuerza y
vida del conjunto del País Vasco la Rue Ganbetta de San Juan de Luz
estaría ahí. Es una calle que hechiza porque son muchas calles a la vez:
tiene el aire poxpoliña de Iparralde, la charme de Francia, la
reminiscencia de un zoco árabe y la agitación de una calle comercial.
Está animada todo el año, pero en verano alcanza su esplendor, siempre
llena de una multitud de gente que pasea, ve tiendas o compra un helado.
Siempre es un placer recorrerla lentamente desde arriba, donde se abre
con la amplitud de las terrazas de bar, hasta llegar al mar y la gran
plaza donde están el kiosko y el Ayuntamiento. Entre medio uno puede
cubrir todas sus necesidades: hay iglesia, cine, tabacs, tiendas
modernizadas de ropa o zapatos, puestos de comida y comercios
tradicionales del textil vascofrancés. La Rue Ganbetta es siempre una
