Yes, I found it very enlightening,(and very Nabokovian). Thus we see
"R" = (mirrorwise) Russian "ya" = English "I"
But we shall remember that Hugh's "prenom" is unpronouncable to one
whose language is French; and thus he is rechristened "you", so that
"Hugh" = "You". And we shall look forward to "You" and "I" getting
together again in the end.
