The Lichberg "Lolita" in English" TLS translation by Carolyn Kunin

Body
This spring Michael Maar's article on a 1916 tale entitled "Lolita"
created something of a fire storm in the world press and on NABOKV-L. Since
there was no English text available many were not in a position to evaluate
Michael Maar's proposal that VN may have had subconscious recall of the
tale that drifted into LOLITA.
Carolyn Kunin generously translated the tale into English for NABOKV-L.
The (London) Times Literary Supplement of July 23, 2004, (which arrived in
Uttermost Santa Barbara only today) carries Ms Kunin's translation (pp.
14-15).
NABOKV-L and I congratulate Carolyn and thank her for her
many contributions.
