As to Pnin I never realised (till yesterday
(and till this post reading))
that it may be some color or overcolor interconnection(s) between
Nabokov 12th novel and Nabokov 13th novel (I personally count
8 rus + 8 ang, so pnin is 12th and PF 13th). But it may be. For
example
lost glove mentioned in Pale fire is found in Pnin 3d part as a red
glove
- so maybe one should seek crown jewels in Pnin.!
