Since the Department of Corrections has been unlocked, can I add that in the
same issue of The Nabokovian, the contents page lists my contribution as
"Annotations to ADA 23, Pt 1 Ch 23" when it is actually 24, to Pt 1 Ch 24; the
Afternote will follow in the next issue.

Dear Don,
The title of my contribution to the most recent issue (54)
of The Nabokovian was badly botched. The word "Artists," after being
removed from the title and low-cased, was mistakenly inserted in the text
(p. 5, 1st par., ln. 6 from the bottom). The title, thus, should read
"Artists Exiled, Art Treasures Sold." I asked Stephen J. Parker to print a
correction but it will appear in the Fall issue, in December. In the
meantime, I wish to set the record straight.
Many thanks.
