Dear Nabokovians,
We wish to announce the upcoming symposium on “Nabokov’s Idioms: Translating Foreignness,” which will be held at the University of California, Santa Barbara on Friday, February 19th, 2016 in honor of professor emeritus Donald Barton Johnson.
Speakers include Julia Bekman Chadaga (Macalester College), Yuri Leving (Dalhousie University), Didier Maleuvre (UCSB), R. Dyche Mullins (UCSF), Galina Rylkova (University of Florida, Gainesville), Julia Trubikhina (Hunter College, CUNY), Lisa Ryoko Wakamiya (Florida State University), and Sara Pankenier Weld (UCSB).
