The Dolores in Oklahoma City, OK

Some of you are familiar with my current travels around the US for my
project, On the Road with Lolita. Well, I was in a bookstore in
Charleston, SC and came across The Big Book of Car Culture by
Hinckley and Robinson.
It mentions The Dolores in Oklahoma City, OK owned by Vince Stevens
as being the first carhop restaurant in 1934.
I apologize if this fact is a. inaccurate or b. already well-known to
subscribers, but it was an interesting detail.
