Dear List,
I have just returned home from travels that began with the Nabokov
conference in Nice and the premiere of an Italian theatre company's
brilliant six-part synaesthetic adaptation of Ada (about which you will
hear more once I catch my breath), and which then descended to less
Nabokovian heights. I will now take over again from Don, who generously
stepped in so that Steve and I could each enjoy a brief vacation.
Thanks again, Don!
I understand that there may have been some problems in posting to
NABOKV-L in recent weeks. If anyone sent a message during this time
which didn't get distributed to the list for some reason (other than an
editorial decision not to forward it), could you please resend the
message if you would still like it to go out? (If you aren't sure
whether or not your message was posted, you can search for it in the
Archives.)
I'm looking forward to rejoining our conversation.
:) SES
