Nabokov 101 this summer will be conducted by two leading scholars, Maria
Malikova and Iurii Leving. Both have been active collaborators in
annotating the complete Russian works (Symposium edition), as well as
writing articles and books on Nabokov.
Malikova, a colleague at the Pushkin House Institute of Russian
Literature in St. Petersburg, is the author of
"V.Nabokov. Avto-bio-graphia", published by "Akademicheskii Projekt",
St. Petersburg, 2002, in Russian, 234 pages,
paperback. ISBN 5-7331-0270-5. The book gives an analysis of Nabokov's
autobiograpic writings.
Iurii Leving, who moves from George Washington University to Dalhousie
University this year, is the author of "Vokzal-Garazh-Angar: Vladimir
Nabokov i poetika russkogo
urbanizma." [Train Station-Garage-Hangar: VN and the poetics of Russian
Urbanism] (St. Petersburg: Izdatel'stvo Ivana Limbakha, 2004).
