Book to be written? Really? What about?

I've been fascinated by this discussion, and I agree that there's a book
waiting to be written.
For now, I'm working on an article, "Communism and Pedophilia:
Surveillance in Nabokov's _Lolita_", which I recently presented to
colleagues here at Miami. If anyone is interested in hearing more, I'd
be
happy to give more details offlist.
That Boyd remark, which I cited during my talk, sparked a great deal of
post-presentation chatter.
