Dear List,
This fall we have enjoyed a lively discussion of Pale Fire, spurred most
recently by Matthew Roth's query about the quotation from Edsel Ford and
by Elspeth Jajdelska's query about the Shades' response to their
daughter's unattractiveness. But there are many subscribers we rarely
hear from. Please, let us know what topics concerning VN would
especially interest and enlighten you!
If you've joined the List within the past year, I hope that you'll
introduce yourself to the rest of us and let us know what particularly
concerns you about VN, especially if you are studying him or conducting
research on some aspect of his life or work. Or, if you are a longtime
subscriber, tell us what you're up to at the moment, especially in terms
of recent projects or publications.
